2012 Road to the Horse Volunteers Needed
Dear Horse Enthusiast,
Thank you for your interest in our Volunteer Program. The event requires many people behind the scenes to make things run smoothly. We need help with things like unloading and loading, setting up and take down of the round pens, sound equipment, sponsor banners, expo booth, manning the doors and tickets sales. In exchange for a weekend of responsibility and hard work, volunteers receive:
We are always looking for energetic, committed people for our program. We work hard, but we also learn lots and have FUN with other volunteers and Road to the Horse staff. Please read more to learn how to apply!
Sincerely,
Tootie Bland
Producer
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Volunteers must be available ALL weekend, beginning at 8 am on Friday and ending at approximately 7pm on Sunday. This means that you might need to get time off from work and/or get someone to fill your regular commitments. There is a mandatory staff meeting Friday (that is the time you will be assigned your jobs for the weekend) and mandatory tear down on Sunday after the event.
You must have a working and valid e-mail address. Correspondence is done through internet. You will be notified through e-mail when chosen. At that time you have one week to check your schedule and reply with a confirmation that you are available ALL weekend. If we receive no response then another applicant will be chosen.
All volunteers must be 21 years old.
Next, answer all questions to the best of your knowledge. The more information about yourself and experience the better.
If all the questions are not answered your application can not be accepted.
Volunteers will be chosen at least 1 month prior to the event. We will keep taking applications until all volunteer openings are filled. Please do not wait for a response if you are wanting to get tickets. Tickets will be refunded if you are chosen as a volunteer. Get those applications in!
Thank you for your interest in our event!
